1. Scope and acceptance of these terms

These terms of service govern access to and use of the Ralen Journal website, including every published article, the about and methodology pages, and the contact form. They apply to any reader who loads a page of this website, whether that reader is located in Indonesia or in another jurisdiction, and they take effect automatically from the moment a page is accessed rather than requiring a separate signature or account. Where these terms conflict with a more specific notice published on an individual page, the more specific notice governs that particular page only. Continued use of the website after a revised version of these terms is published, as recorded in the revision log below, constitutes acceptance of that revised version.

2. Description of the publication

Ralen Journal is an independent editorial publication covering men's dietary supplement habits, daily nutritional awareness, and active lifestyle practices, with a particular focus on readers based in Jakarta and elsewhere in Indonesia. The website is intended for general information and editorial discussion rather than for any transactional purpose, and it does not sell products, process payments, or operate an account system. Articles are written and reviewed by the editorial desk described on the about page, and each article carries a byline, a publication date and, where relevant, a note on the sources consulted. Reading an article on this website does not create any advisory, professional or contractual relationship between the reader and Ralen Journal beyond the limited terms set out in this document.

3. Information handled under these terms

The personal data handled in connection with use of this website is described in full in the separate privacy policy, which forms part of these terms by reference and should be read together with this page. In summary, the website processes contact form submissions on the basis of consent, and automatically generated technical logs on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available, each subject to the retention periods and named processors set out in that privacy policy. Because this website does not require registration, no persistent account profile is created for an ordinary reader, and the only durable record kept is the correspondence history described in the privacy policy.

4. Retention of correspondence and account-free access

Every article, including the archive linked from the homepage, remains accessible without registration, and no reader is required to create an account, provide payment details, or accept a separate subscription agreement to read published content. Correspondence sent through the contact form is retained for up to twenty-four months as described in the privacy policy, principally so that the editorial desk can refer back to an earlier exchange when responding to a follow-up message or a correction request. Because there is no account system, a reader who wishes to stop receiving a reply to an ongoing exchange may simply say so in a message, and the desk will close that correspondence thread accordingly.

5. Acceptable use of content and reader conduct

The text, layout, original photography descriptions and overall editorial presentation of this website remain the property of Ralen Journal unless a different credit is shown alongside a specific item, such as a quoted source or a named contributor. Reproduction of a substantial portion of an article, beyond a short quotation with attribution and a link back to the original page, requires prior written permission from the editorial desk, which can be requested at [email protected]. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any Ralen Journal trademark, wordmark or visual identity to a reader, and no reader may use the Ralen Journal name in a way that suggests an affiliation that does not exist.

7. Third-party services and links

This website relies on a small number of named third-party infrastructure providers, specifically Amazon Web Services for hosting, Cloudflare for content delivery and security filtering, a self-hosted Matomo installation for optional analytics, and Postmark for transactional email confirming a contact form submission, each described in more detail in the privacy policy. Articles may from time to time link to an external source, such as a published study or a government resource, for context, and such a link does not imply that Ralen Journal endorses every statement made on that external page. A reader who follows an outbound link does so subject to the terms and privacy practices of that separate website, over which Ralen Journal has no control.

8. International access and use

This website is published from Jakarta, Indonesia, and is written with an Indonesian readership specifically in mind, but it remains technically accessible from other countries. A reader accessing the website from outside Indonesia is responsible for compliance with any local law that may apply to that reader's own use of the internet, and Ralen Journal makes no representation that the content of this website is appropriate or lawful to access in every jurisdiction. Where infrastructure described in section seven results in data being processed outside Indonesia, the safeguards described in the privacy policy apply in the same way to a reader located anywhere in the world.

9. Editorial disclaimer and reader responsibility

Ralen Journal is an independent editorial publication and is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental or institutional body, and nothing published on this website should be read as an endorsement of a specific brand or product. We recommend consulting a qualified health or nutrition professional before introducing any supplement or dietary change into a daily routine, especially where a reader has a pre-existing health consideration, because this website does not evaluate an individual reader's circumstances. 10. Corrections, disclaimers of accuracy, and liability

The desk works to keep articles current, sourced and clearly dated, but no publication can promise that every page will remain complete as underlying information changes over time, and a publication date or source note is provided so that a reader can judge the context of a given article. Where an error is identified, Ralen Journal will review the underlying source, correct the article where warranted, and note the date of that correction at the foot of the relevant piece. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within three business days and to provide a substantive response within thirty calendar days, extended where the matter requires review of an older editorial record and where the reader is informed of that extension. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and any dispute that cannot be resolved through the process described in this section is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jakarta, without prejudice to any right a reader may have under mandatory local consumer or data protection law.

12. Changes to these terms

Ralen Journal may revise these terms to reflect a change in how the website operates, a change in a named infrastructure provider, or a change in applicable law, and the current effective date is shown at the top of this page.
